CHAPTER TWO
ELOMA
It came about that the sons of The Children of God mated with the daughters of The Children Men, who knew well the ways of men and were not reserved. The covenant had been broken and strange women were taken into the households, some even as wives, but though the daughters were lesser women, the sons were wonderfully big and mighty fighting men.
These new people came out of the wastelands and crossed to Kithermis, which they divided in three parts between them, and there were rivers on the boundaries. This was when the years of man's life were lessened because he became fully Earth-sustained, but he remained full of vigour though filled with hostility, particularly towards those who loved.
Acerca de esto, ocurrió que los hijos de los Hijos de Dios se casaron con las hijas de los hombres, que conocían bien las debilidades de los hombres y no eran reservadas. El acuerdo fue desigual y raro para las mujeres que se llevaron a las casas, algunas incluso como esposas, porque aunque las mujeres eran más pequeñas, los hijos eran hombres asombrosamente grandes y fuertes luchando.

To the East was the land of Ubal which was mountainous and the Ubalites were herdsmen. Westward was the land of Chaisen and it joined Ubak on the North. Southward were the land of Utoh and the land of Kayman, whose peoples dwelt on the plains and tilled the soil. Some from the households of The Children of God went into the land of Chaisen and gave the people laws and taught them to build with brick. Netar and Baletsheramam, the sons of Enanari, taught them writing and set their letters on a pillar in Herak. Enkilgal, son of Nenduka, built Keridor which stands between two rivers.
Al Este estaba la tierra de Ubal que eran muy montañosa y los Ubalitas eran ganaderos. Hacia el Oeste estaba la tierra de Chaisen y ésta se unía a Ubak hacia el Norte. Hacia el Sur estaba la tierra de Utoh y la de Kayman, cuyos pueblos vivían en una planicie y cultivaban la tierra. Algunas de las familias de los Hijos de Dios se dirigieron a la tierra de Chaisen y dieron a los pueblos leyes y les enseñaron a construir con ladrillos. Netar y Baletsheramam, los hijos de Enanari les enseñaron la escritura y colocaron sus letras en una columna en Herak. Enkilgal, hijo de Nenduka, construyó Keridor que estaba situada entre dos ríos.
Then came the lengthening of the years, when the time of sowing was confused and seed died in the ground. In those days, Enos came up out of Chaisen and spoke for the God of The Children of Men. In those days, there were many having the blood of The Children of God who inclined their ears towards his words, for they thought the Great God of their fathers had abandoned them. Therefore, the enlightening word of God came to Eloma.
Eloma, daughter of Kahema, heard the voice of God and was carried into the wilderness unto a place where there was a cave and clear running waters, and she dwelt there for seven years. Eloma had three sons and they all heard the voice of God and walked with Him. Her firstborn son was Haryanah and he carried the word of God to the Children of God who dwelt in the Northlands, for they had forgotten His Ways. He married Didi, daughter of a great king and became an even greater king; he had many sons who all became kings among men of renown. Yahama, her secondborn son, carried the word of God to those who dwelt towards the sunrising, and Manum, her thirdborn son, carried it to those towards sunsetting.
Entonces vino una serie continuada de años, en los que el tiempo de la cosecha estaba perturbado y la semilla moría en la tierra. En aquellos días, Enos llegó de la tierra de Chaisen y habló acerca de Dios a los hijos de los Hombres. En esos tiempos había muchos que tenían la sangre de los Hijos de Dios, que sólo oían sus propias palabras, porque pensaban que el Gran Dios de sus padres les había abandonado. Por lo tanto la iluminadora palabras de Dios llegó a Eloma.
Eloma, hija de Kahema, oyó la voz de Dios y fue corriendo al desierto a un lugar donde había una cueva y corría un claro arroyo, y vivió allí durante siete años. Eloma tenía tres hijos y todos ellos oían la voz de Dios y caminaban con Él. Su primer hijo era Haryanah y él llevó la palabra de Dios a los hijos de Dios que vivían en las tierras del Norte, porque ellos habían olvidado Su Camino. Él se casó con Didi, hija de un gran rey y llegó a ser un rey casi más grande. Tuvo muchos hijos que llegaron todos a ser reyes entre los hombres famosos. Yahama, su segundo hijo la llevó (la palabra) a los que habitaban hacia poniente.
When the ear of the Spirit was opened in Eloma, she returned to her people and became The Interpreter of God. In the days when some men left to dwell among The Children of Men, others came to Eloma and said,
"Behold, men leave and we become weak, while The Children of Men become strong. Can this be the will of our Father?"
Then Eloma called upon God and He heard her cry and said unto her,
"Let your spirit be at peace, for things happen as they will; it is the grain being winnowed from the chaff. It is always easier for men to follow the ways of the flesh than the ways of the spirit, yet the deeper man descends into the vale of earthly things, the harder the climb out to the heights of glory. A generation to go down, ten generations to rise again. Man must struggle or degenerate, but the path of pleasure is pleasant, while the path of progress is beset with pain and strife".
Cuando el oído del espíritu se abrió en Eloma, volvió a su pueblo y se convirtió en intérprete de Dios. En los días en que algunos hombres dejaron de vivir entre los Hijos del Hombre, otros acudieron a Eloma y dijeron; “Escucha, los hombres se han ido y nosotros estamos débiles, mientras los hijos del hombre se han hecho fuertes. ¿puede ésto ser la voluntad de nuestro Padre?”.
Entonces Eloma llamó a Dios y Él la oyó llorar y dijo junto a ella,
“ Dejad vuestro espíritu en paz, porque las cosas pasan tal como deben; es el grano separándose del desecho. Es siempre más fácil para los hombres seguir los caminos de la carne que los caminos del espíritu, todavía el hombre astuto desciende hacia el valle de las cosas terrenales, el más fuerte elige el camino hacia las cimas de la gloria. Una generación se perderá, diez generaciones se levantarán de nuevo. El hombre debe luchar o degenerar, pero el sendero del placer es agradable, mientras que el sendero del progreso está empedrado con dolor y lucha”.
God said to Eloma, His servant,
"Behold, I have been good to My children, they have been given everything that is pleasant, everything has come easily to their hand. The lot of The Children of Men is more harsh and yet they prosper. Childish things are expected from a child, but when it grows up more is anticipated, yet still My children come to me as children".
God then said, "Go, return to the place from whence you came and remain there for seven years" and she did so. The seven years passed and Eloma returned to the people and, behold, the fertile fields were unsown, the water channels were dry and there was desolation in the midst of the waters. Eloma sought among the fields and when she came upon the habitations her heart was rent apart. For she saw the daughters of The Children of God consorted with the sons of The Children of Men and were become unlike true women.
Dios le dijo a Eloma, su servidora,
“Escucha, Yo he sido bueno con Mis hijos, han tenido todo lo que han querido, todo les ha venido fácilmente a las manos. La suerte de los Hijos de los Hombres es más áspera y aún así ellos prosperan. Las cosas infantiles se esperan de los niños, pero, cuando se crece, se espera más, aunque todavía Mis hijos vienen a mí como niños.
Dios dijo entonces,”Vete, vuelve al lugar de dónde has venido y permanece allí durante siete años”. Y ella así lo hizo. Cuando pasaron los siete años y Eloma volvió al pueblo y, escuchad, el suelo fértil había desaparecido, los canales de agua estaban secos y había desolación en medio de las aguas. Eloma miró entre los campos y cuando llegó a las viviendas su corazón desfalleció. Porque vio las hijas de los Hijos de Dios casadas con los hijos de los Hombres y habían dejado de ser mujeres de verdad.
Then Eloma said to them, "Wherefore has this thing come about?" And they answered, "Behold, men came from out of the wilderness and our men were like sheep before wolves; see, even now they labour within a pen of servitude". Eloma then went unto the men and said, "Wherefore has this thing come about?" and they answered her, "Behold, the God of The Children of Men is, unlike ours, a God of battles and we were delivered into their hands".
Entonces Eloma les dijo, “¿Desde cuando están así las cosas?”, y ellas le contestaron, “Mira, unos hombres vinieron de fuera desde el desierto y nuestros hombres eran como corderos ante los lobos; miralos, aún ahora cercados en un redil de servidumbre. Eloma, entonces fue junto a los hombres y les dijo; “¿Desde cuando están así las cosas?” y ellos contestaron, “Escucha, el Dios de los Hijos de los Hombres es, para nuestro mal, un Dios de Batalla y hemos caído en sus manos”.
Then Eloma was heavy of heart and called upon God, saying, "Behold the plight of Your children" and God heard her and answered,
"I am not indifferent, for their sufferings are My sufferings. They are not under the whips of men but under the flail of God, the grain is being separated from the chaff. They toil not under the blows of men but under the hammer of God, they are not imprisoned but are upon an anvil. I am not the God of battles, not the God of nations, not even the God of men. I am the God of Souls, The Keeper of the Treasures of Eternity. I have not turned away from My children, My children have turned away from Me, disobeying my laws. This cry will echo down through the generations of man: "My God, why have You deserted me?" And it will come from those who have deserted their God".
Entonces Eloma se enfadó y clamó a Dios, diciendo, “Mira la condición de tus hijos” Y Dios la oyó y contestó,
“No soy indiferente, porque sus sufrimientos son Mis sufrimientos. Ellos no están bajo el azote de los hombres, sino bajo el azote de Dios, el grano está siendo separado del desperdicio. No se fatigan bajo los golpes de los hombres sino bajo el martillo de Dios, no están prisioneros sino bajo un yunque. Yo no soy el Dios de las Batallas, ni el Dios de las naciones, ni siquiera el Dios de los hombres. Yo soy el Dios de las Almas, el Custodio de los Tesoros de la Eternidad, Yo no he abandonado a Mis Hijos, Mis hijos me han abandonado a Mi, desobedeciendo mis leyes. Sus lamentaciones se oirán a través de las generaciones del hombre; “Dios mío, por qué me has abandonado?” y vendrá de los que desertaron de su Dios”.
"Arise, go seek among the people and you will find a maiden who is pure at heart, but she is mocked and degraded by being made a swine attendant. Take her with you and go to Shinara, guard her well, for she is the daughter of a new dawning".
Eloma sought among the people and found Nanua, Maid of the Morning, and they went into Shinara.
“Levántate, vé y busca entre el pueblo y encontrarás una muchacha que es pura de corazón, pero se ríen de ella y la degradan porque siempre va acompañada de un cerdo. Llévala contigo y ve a Shinara, cuídala bien porque ella es la hija de un nuevo proyecto.”
Eloma buscó entre el pueblo y encontró a Nanua, Doncella de la Mañana, y se fueron a Shinara.
The Voice of God came to Eloma in Shinara, saying,
"This is the way things shall be with those who aspire to Godhood. They must follow only the paths which I have shown through the words of My interpreters. The unfolding spirit residing in those who have the blood of The Children of God and the greatness that dwells in men shall be magnified in the blood of their children. Their wisdom shall be greatly multiplied, if the tie of blood be strong. As good wine become bad if diluted overmuch, so is greatness in the blood of man. There is a virtue in the blood of those whose forbears were The Children of God, and if two people having this blood marry, then this virtue is increased in their children, so it is greater than either parent. There is a law of inheritance from which no man is exempt, for man is governed by the laws of earthly creatures as well as by greater laws. Is not the best ram chosen to sire the new flock? So let women choose the best among men that they can and let men choose the best among women, and they who heed My words will know which is the best. Let the truly great ones rule".
God said,
"The creative words remain on this side of the veil, but their echoes resound on your side. The real remains here, but its reflection is there; creation is My mirror, though it is not without distortions. I have created in spirit and in matter, My thoughts have ranged from the unseeable smallest to the incomprehensible largest. My greatest thoughts formed substance for the spirits of the sons and daughters of Earth".
La Voz de Dios llegó a Eloma en Shinara, diciendo,
“Así es cómo serán las cosas para aquellos que aspiran a la Divinidad. Ellos deben seguir solo el sendero que yo señalaré a través de las palabras de Mis intérpretes. El espíritu revelado que reside en los que tienen la sangre de los Hijos de Dios y la grandeza que habita en los hombres será magnificada en la sangre de sus hijos. Su sabiduría será multiplicada en gran manera, si el vínculo de la sangre es fuerte. Como un buen vino se convierte en malo si se diluye demasiado, así es la grandeza en la sangre del hombre. Hay un poder en la sangre de aquellos cuyos antepasados fueron los Hijos de Dios, y si dos personas que tienen esta sangre se casan, este poder se incrementa en sus hijos, de tal forma que es mayor que el de sus padres. Hay una ley de la herencia de la que nadie está exento, porque el hombre es gobernado por las leyes de las criaturas terrenas tanto como por las leyes superiores. ¿no es el mejor carnero elegido para iniciar un nuevo ganado? Así que dejad que las mujeres elijan el mejor hombre que puedan y dejad a los hombres elegir la mejor entre las mujeres, y los que escuchen mi voz sabrán cual es el mejor. Dejad que el mejor os guíe correctamente”.
Las palabras creadoras permanecen en este lado del velo, pero sus ecos resuenan en vuestro lado. Lo real permanece aquí, pero su reflejo está allí; la creación es Mi espejo, aunque no carece de distorsiones. Yo he creado en espíritu y materia. Mi pensamiento está extendido desde lo invisiblemente pequeño hasta lo más sublimemente incomprensible. Mi pensamiento más sublime formó sustancias para los espíritus de los hijos y las hijas de la Tierra”.
"Truth and justice, perfection of beauty and goodness remain with Me, and these you can know on Earth only by their reflection. In the universe of Truth all things are free from illusion and are seen in reality, but on Earth even the reflection is distorted. I have crated light and called it substance; it is illuminated within by the light of an ever present love potential".
La verdad y la Justicia, la perfección de la belleza y la bondad permanecen en Mi, y puedes conocerlas en la Tierra sólo por su reflejo. En el universo de la Verdad todo está libre de ilusión y se ven en la realidad, pero en la Tierra incluso el reflejo está distorsionado. Yo he creado luz y se la llama sustancia; está iluminada dentro por la luz de un amor potencial siempre presente”.
"Men call on many Gods, though above all there is but One; yet whatever they call Me I will hear them, for I am The God Above Names, The God Embracing All Names. Whatever men believe, if it serves Good it serves God. But gold necklaces are not for sheep and outward forms of worship must suffice for the spiritually undeveloped. The rituals of men may often be empty ceremonials, but they may also guard the Great Mysteries behind them".
“Los hombres llaman Dioses a muchos, aunque por encima de todos no hay más que Uno; sin embargo cualquiera con que me llamen Yo les escucharé, porque soy el Dios sobre los Nombres, el Dios que engloba todos los nombres. Cualquier cosa que los hombres crean, si sirve a la Bondad, sirve a Dios. Pero un collar de oro no es para el ganado y las formas exteriores de adoración deben bastar para el desarrollo espiritual. Los rituales de los hombres a menudo son ceremonias vacías, pero pueden también guardar un Gran Misterio tras ellos”.
"If a man seeks to enter My presence by prayer and says, "God grant me this or give me that", the thing will be neither granted no given, unless it be for his spiritual good or benefit another. I am no huxter bargaining blessings in exchange for worship, nothing man can give can add to what I have. Also me do Me little honour when they fail to recognize that I am above concern for mere bodies which decay and fall apart when the enlivening spirit leaves them. Yet man is but man, know that I am a God of understanding and compassion. If man cries out to Me, in genuine stress and suffering, he will not go unrelieved and uncomforted. Yet understand that suffering and sorrow are the lot of man, that he may become ManGod. There is also the Great Law to which man must conform; there are intricacies of enidvadew to be unwoven and the challenging paths of destiny and fate to be followed. Too often the price to paid for things done or not done is pain and suffering, sorrow and distress, but where would be the benefit to the debtor were I to wipe out such debts? Yet will I see that never, be even a single grain, will they exceed that which is absolutely necessary and just. On earth, joy and gladness will always outweigh pain and sorrow".
“Si un hombre intenta venir a Mi presencia a rezar y dice: “Dios garantízame esto o dame aquello”, eso ni será garantizado ni será dado, a no ser que sea para su bienestar espiritual o beneficie a otro. No soy una persona negociando bendiciones a cambio de adoración, el hombre no puede darme nada que aumente lo que tengo. Además me hacen un flaco honor cuando no reconocen que estoy por encima de todo lo que concierne a los meros cuerpos que decaen y mueren cuando el espíritu que los vivifica los abandona. No obstante el hombre que es hombre, sabe que soy un Dios comprensivo y compasivo. Si un hombre llora ante mí, con genuino cansancio y sufrimiento, no se irá sin aliento y reconfortado. Sin embargo entender que el sufrimiento y el dolor son la suerte del hombre, que puede llegar a ser un Dios-hombre. Existe también una Gran Ley a la que el hombre debe atenerse; existe el intrincado camino de enidvawen (ley de siembra y cosecha) para ser desenredado y los cambiantes caminos del destino y el hado para seguirlos. También a menudo el precio a pagar por las cosas hechas o no hechas es dolor y sufrimiento, pesar y angustia, pero ¿sería beneficioso para el deudor que yo le perdonara muchas deudas? Sin embargo no he visto nunca, aunque sea un solo grano, que éstas (las penas) rebasen lo que es absolutamente necesario y justo. Sobre la tierra, la alegría y el contento siempre valdrán más que las penas y el sufrimiento”
"Earth is Earth, take it as you find it, do not expect to find heavenly things there. It is a place of tuition and the purpose of life is learning. All things of Earth are limited and mortal, immortality will not be found there. When the things of Earth have fulfilled their hidden purposes, each passes away, returning to the dust from whence it came".
“La Tierra es la Tierra, cógela como la encuentres, no esperes encontrar cosas celestiales ahí. Es un lugar de prueba y el propósito de la vida es aprender. Todas las cosas de la Tierra son limitadas y mortales, la inmortalidad no será encontrada aquí. Cuando las cosas de la Tierra hayan cumplido su secreto propósito, retornarán al polvo de donde salieron”
"Behold, in the days to come Truth shall be unfolded to all peoples, revealed in a degree and manner which will accord with their needs and capabilities. It will be passed on from generation to generation and from man to man. The purity of its flame will accord with the quality of the oil of spirituality with which it is fed and replenished; hence there will be many differing degrees of purity and revelation. The food which one man enjoys may sit heavily on the stomach of another, yet it would be foolish to say that the food enjoyed by one should become the food of all. So it is with the spiritual things which men believe".
“Escucha, en los tiempos que vienen La Verdad será revelada a todas las gentes, revelada en el grado y forma que se atenga a sus necesidades y capacidades. Ésta será pasada de una generación a otra y de un hombre a otro. La pureza de su llama estará conforme con la calidad del aceite de espiritualidad con el que se nutre y se rellena; por eso habrá muchos grados diferentes de pureza y revelación. La comida que a un hombre agrada puede ser muy fuerte para el estómago de otro, así que sería necio decir que la comida disfrutada por uno debería ser la comida para todos. Lo mismo pasa con las cosas espirituales que creen los hombres”.
"I will not send prophets, nor will I appoint spokesmen, but such will arise through their own efforts and enter into conscious union with Me. They will point the way, which will be followed by the spiritually sturdy, but others less strong in spirit must take a slower path, and many will advance only by faith and service, by justice and kindliness towards others".
“No mandaré profetas, ni nombraré predicadores, pero muchos se levantarán por su propio esfuerzo y entrarán en una unión consciente conmigo. Ellos indicarán el camino que será seguido por los espiritualmente fuertes, pero otros menos fuertes en espíritu deberán coger un camino más lento, y muchos avanzarán solamente por la fe y la entrega, por justicia y bondad hacia los demás”.
"The spark of divinity in man generates inspiring dreams which will ever lure him onward and upward, yet the road is long, the journey wearing and often unpleasant. Man has unnecessarily encumbered himself, he has enshrouded his spirit under a winding sheet of earthly passions. With his Great Eye blinded by indulgence in vice and his spirit corroded by corruption, his fallible senses only are left to him, and these deceive him into believing the mortal vehicle is his total being. Affliction and decay are now the lot of man and he has passed into a long, dark night of ignorance. Now only by journeying the long and painful road of earthly experience can his soul be cleansed and awakened to the realization of the glory within him".
"La chispa de la divinidad en el hombre genera sueños inspirados que le llevan abajo y arriba, puesto que el camino es largo, el viaje cansado y a menudo desgraciado. El hombre se ha cargado a sí mismo de forma innecesaria, ha enterrado su espíritu bajo un manto tortuoso de pasiones terrenales. Con su Gran Ojo cegado por su indulgencia hacia el vicio y su espíritu viciado por la corrupción, sólo le han quedado sus engañosos sentidos y estos le inclinan a pensar que la máquina mortal es todo su ser. La aflicción y la decadencia son ahora la suerte del hombre y pasará así una larga y oscura noche de ignorancia. Ahora sólo viajando el camino largo y penoso de la experiencia terrenal puede su alma limpiarse y despertar a la realización de la gloria que tiene dentro”.
"Man may conceive Me as he will and it will be well. I am not a God of pettishness. As I brought forth the creation, so shall he bring forth the revelation of his God. Unto you, Eloma My child, I grant the keys of Communion and Union".
Then Eloma went out among the people and taught them about their Creator in this manner,
"I bring you the soul-whispered words of God, The Eternal Tower of Strength, The Fathomless Ocean of Compassion. He has hung the Earth in the void, surrounding it with nothingness, yet by His power it remains in its appointed place. He veils His glory behind the shield of illusion, lest it overpower the spirits of men. He is obscured by the dark cloud of mortal ignorance. He is the inspirational spirit ever entering the hearts of man, striving to arouse them to reach out towards greatness and achievement".
“El hombre puede concebirme como quiera y estará bien. Yo no soy un Dios de puerilidades. Igual que produje la creación, así él recibirá la revelación de su Dios. A tí, mi hija Eloma, te entrego las llaves de la Comunión y la Unión”.
Entonces Eloma fue entre la gente y les habló acerca de su Creador de esta forma:
“Os traigo las inspiradas palabras de Dios, la Eterna Torre de Fortaleza, El Océano henchido de Compasión. Él ha colocado la Tierra en el vacío, rodeándola con la nada, sin embargo por Su poder permanece en el lugar asignado. Él ha velado su gloria tras un escudo de ilusión, dejándole dominar el espíritu de los hombres. Él está escondido por la oscura nube de la mortal ignorancia. Él es el espíritu inspirador entrando al corazón del hombre, esforzándose por levantarles para alcanzar la grandeza y la realización”.
"He has moulded the sky above us and bedecked it with splendour and awesome beauty. He taught the stars their song of joy and the winds their wondrous music. All the widespread Earth proclaim His creativity, while the high vaults reveal His skill and handiwork. His messages go out to men, not in the speech of men but in wordless whispers to their hearts. His finger prescribes a course for the fertilizing waters which nourish the desolate sands, making tender buds burst forth from the dead soil. The soft waters caress the ground and pastures arise to become the habitations of great flocks and herds".
“Él moldeó el cielo sobre nosotros y lo adornó con esplendor y pasmosa belleza. Le dio a las estrellas su sonido de júbilo y a los vientos su maravillosa música. Toda la extensa Tierra proclama Su creatividad, mientras las altas bóvedas revelan su habilidad y su destreza. Sus mensajes llegan a los hombres no en los sermones de los hombres sino en callado susurro a su corazón. Sus dedos prescriben el curso de las fertilizantes aguas que nutren las tierras desoladas, haciendo los tiernos brotes crecer fuertes del suelo muerto. Las cálidas aguas acarician el suelo y los pastos crecen hasta ser los vivideros de grandes ganados y manadas”.
"The rose unfolds its beauty to honour Him and the woodbine delights Him with perfume delivered upon the wind. The cornfields bow in humility, then the wheatstalks raise upwards in praise. The trees spread wide their worshipping branches and the barleyheads whisper together of His sungiven bounty. He is the Fountainhead of All Life, the Overseer of the Fertilising Waters and the Captain of the Stars".
"Men stand beneath the great dome of the nightskies and are overawed by the work of their architect and by the bright mysteries displayed in such a pattern of beauty. They become dismayed at their own smallness, but are reassured by His words which have come down to them from ancient times".
“La rosa despliega su belleza en Su honor y la madreselva Le deleita con el perfume desprendido por los vientos. Los campos de maíz de inclinan con humildad, mientras el trigo se levanta en alabanza. Los árboles despliegan sus devotas ramas y las espigas de la cebada susurran juntas por Su soleada bondad. Él es el manantial de toda la Vida, el Guardián de las aguas fertilizante y el Capitán de las Estrellas”
El hombre permanece bajo la cúpula de los cielos nocturnos y le intimida la obra de su arquitecto y porque los misterios se despliegan en muchos patrones de belleza. Ellos se desaniman ante su propia pequeñez, pero son reanimados por Sus palabras que les han llegado desde tiempos antiguos".

"The widespread, mysterious Heavens are His throne and bountiful Earth His footstool; no structure man could build would contain Him. Did He need a residence, no place built by the hands of man could compare with that which His hands could erect. There is nothing on Earth that man can give God which could add to God's glory or increase what He has. The only acceptable sacrifice man can offer is service to the will of God, and God's will is that man should spiritualise himself and improve the Earth. To offer goods or money as a sacrifice is an insult to God, it is shirking the needful effort, evading the necessary duty and obligation; it is the easy way and not acceptable".

El único sacrificio que el hombre puede hacer es servir a la voluntad de Dios, y la voluntad de Dios es que el hombre se espiritualice a sí mismo y perfeccione la Tierra. Ofrecer bienes o dinero como sacrificio es un insulto a Dios, es esquivar el esfuerzo necesario, evadir el necesario deber y obligación; es un camino fácil y no aceptable”.

Eloma taught many things and she forbade any man to fornicate with unwedded matrons whose silver tongue beguiled and whose winsome ways led men astray. She also decreed that men should not fornicate with any maid or another's wife , for none so doing could call himself an honourable man, and such deeds canker the spirit.
Dios es el refugio de los pobres y socorro en la necesidad. Su compasión acompaña a los hombres cuando las desgracias pesan demasiado sobre ellos. Sin embargo la tribulación y la adversidad, el dolor y el sufrimiento no deben ser considerados sino como un peso necesario impuesto sobre las dificultades inseparables de la vida en la tierra. Existen cosas de valor que abren los ojos a la Verdad, atemperando el espíritu, como el hierro es atemperado en el fuego”.
Eloma enseñó muchas cosas y prohibió a cualquier hombre fornicar con matronas no casadas cuyas plateadas lenguas engañan y cuyas atractivas maneras dejan a los hombres atontados. También decretó que los hombres no fornicaran con ninguna muchacha ni con la esposa de otro, por que si no, no se podría considerar a sí mismo un hombre honorable, y muchas hazañas corrompen el espíritu.
It was Eloma who taught men the wisdom of the stars which journeyed according to their destinies. She taught them to interpret the pattern of each man's life, which is woven from the threads of fate and destiny and interwoven with the many coloured strands of enidvadew. Fue Eloma quien enseñó a los hombres la sabiduría de las estrellas que viajan de acuerdo con su destino. Les enseñó a interpretar el patrón de la vida de cada hombre, que es urdida por las huellas del hado y el destino y entrelazadas con los muchos hilos coloreados de Enidvadew (ley de la cosecha y la siembra).
